nursing and weight gain

- I'm nursing my baby, he's 4 months old. I don't understand why I'm gaining weight when ever one says that nursing makes you loose weight. I was 162lbs when I brought my baby home. I'm now 170lbs. I'm really upset about it, I can't stand to look in the mirror. Or get dressed my cloths don't fit.

- Hi there, yes it is true that while nursing it makes you loose weight easier but you also have to watch what you eat. My older sister is also nursing her 6 month old baby boy and she's getting bigger and bigger everyday because of what she eats and she really eats a lot that is why she is now watching what she eats and lesser rice. I hope this helps and good luck. :-)
