  • I had to wean Ian for medical reasons and I am sooooooo sad
I didnt think I would be so sad considering we made it 15 1/2 months but after we were officially done, it hit me really hard. I just cant believe it is over

I can 100% relate. My dd is now 14 months and I am facing the same issue because of my own health. Mia is not ready at all to wean and I can't imagine stopping.
I have nursed every single one of my 8 children, and cried and grieved each time nursing was over. I think the bond is so incredibly strong and we can't help miss it terribly.
My trouble is that I am not having any more children, so I know this is my last time b/fing. Are you planning on having more children? If so, you can always look forward to b/fing them..?
Thinking of you - I know it's a hard time.

  • ((hugs)) it is such a "loss" when you stop isn't it, well done for going so far though.

    Love Helen
