  • i was told threw out my pregnancy that nursing helps you lose the pregnancy weight, well my son is 18 weeks old and i havent lost any weight. i am also walking and using a tredmill.so whats the deal. i cant stand to look at my self in the mirror. im 5'1 and 170lbs. i want to lose this weight but cant diet at all while nursing, any advise

  • dont stress about it. untill your body fully makes a recovery you wont loose the extra weight. and whileyou do loose a little when you bf, its important you still have some if that weight as it will keep you going untill bub is ready to be weened off the bm which maybe at 6 months to a year. being smaller isnt always better, as you are more prone to health issues with yourself as you look after your bub. focus on your baby and your well being and just relax while you can. you will loose it again the second bub decides it can toddle around!
