  • This was recently touched on in another thread, so I thought this article was timely. I personally think w/ the child in the same bed is crossing the line. Having the baby in asleep in a crib/bassinet in the same room was a little weird but ok. fficeffice" />

This article presents two sides, one lady thinks it's fine, the other thinks its child abuse.

  • Ewww, no way! An infant, thats fine, they have no clue whats going on, but kids that are aware of their surroundings...umm, not in a million years.

  • When my 1st was a newborn, we may have done it a few times, but she slept in a bassinet 3 feet away from the bed, not in the bed. But it was still too wierd; every time she would grunt or fuss.....so we just waited until nap time on weekends and we would put her in her crib, in her room. But a 2 year old? In the bed with you? NO WAY!

  • I do not think this is normal. You can find a more secluded place.
