  • yes. I tithe. Not the full 10%, but I do tithe regularly and I honor the pledge I made at the beginning of each year.
    In addition to the money for church, we donate to other charity organizations so that the contributions would be well over 10% -- but thats not counted toward tithing in the literal sense. (but I don't think Jesus or God knew that we would have charity organizations in lieu of churches to donate to when they talked about the 10% to give to church)

  • For me it's a catch 22 and I hate it. We don't tithe like we should because we have so many bills that if we tithe we can't pay them all. However, I know that if we'd tithe regularly like we're supposed to that somehow the bills would take care of themselves.
