  • I guess 3 is the magic number of pregnancies you have to have with my doctor before she becomes super-sweet. She's never been that way-- but I think she's a great doctor and is a total control freak so that's why I keep going to her.

Well this time around (and I guess she knows I had a miscarriage too so I'm so much more freaked out) she has become really sweet. Every time she does my u/s she says "a
look how cute the baby is!" even though he's nothing but a big alien head.

This time around she told me it was another little boy. I said "wow, three boys" and she said, "God has truly blessed you sweetie."

I thought that was pretty nice.....

  • Even though I have only had one, my doc seems the same way! She is all business, but when we brought Hope by to see the nurses and her (their office is next to the peds office) when she was two weeks old she was SO excited and even gave DH and me each a HUG! I was really surprised! Glad she is treating you a little sweeter!

  • That's great. My doc is a big mush and a bit eccentric, but he was a trauma surgeon before OB, so I trust him with my life (and my baby's!) I used to go to someone in the same office when I was first pg with dd, more of the controlling/cold type, but I had to see this guy once as an emergency appt when I fell. He was so much more comforting that I switched and he was the one to deliver dd. Dh really likes him too.

I am glad she is so sweet to you now!
