  • I haven't been on this website for a while! It was a huge help when i was ttc so I thought that I would join and catch up with the few of you in the jan-mar room!

Im 11 weeks this week and due march 5th or so. I had an u/s at 6 weeks, then 9, but its been almost a month since I had an u/s so im hoping that all is still well! I have to get used to the idea that I wont be getting one every few weeks!

Next dr appt is the 24th so hoping to hold out faith until then and just hope that all is still well. I still have the nausea and such, but the sore breasts and the m/s are diminishing, and even though i know its supposed to in the second trimester, it's still scary! I was thinking about renting a doppler from this company online...just to hear my little one...but i think im going to at least try to wait until after this next dr appt. Its so hard; I'm not showing and all I have are somatic complaints so its a frustrating knowing that something is there, but not being able to see, feel or hear it!!

None the less, I wish the all of us the best of luck, and hoping to share this journey with you all as we progress!!

  • Congrats- and welcome back! Sooo glad you are here with us! I am 15 weeks pregnant with our second- we have a one year old baby girl. I know- it is so disconcerting at this time in pregnancy when you can't feel the baby move yet to know they are still there! I just had a dr. appt. last week and it was SOOO reassuring to hear that little heart beating!

  • Thanks! This is my first, so you know, everything is new so I don't even know what normal or not normal feels like!

  • Welcome back, we're due one day off from each other. I'm due March 6th. We're expecting our 2nd. With our first I went through a year of fertility treatments so when I got pregnant I ended up having 3 ultrasounds before I was ever 12 weeks pregnant....so it's definitely different this time only having ONE so far.

Best of luck, it's always scary and unnerving. You really just have to have faith and trust that everything is okay in there when you can't feel the little one yet. Which, is very hard at times.
