  • Might be the only one here but:::

So is anyone doing the ultra scrren - down syndrome and trisiotomy?
I never did the tripple screen with my others but My OB said this is a different /more reliable test so she really encouraged me to do it, she said the false positives are far less (thats why I didnt do the triple screen before) I still kinda wish I said NO but I did the blood work already and my U/S is in 2 weeks, I dont think the info really matters to me, Im not planning to abort the pregnancy. So just wondering what if anyone has any info or insight to this test. thanks

  • I never have. It just makes me nervous to have tests like that done and it wouldn't change the course of events anyway. I do do the 20 week U/S to rule out major problems that we would need to be aware of for immediate treatment if needed as well as to find out if the baby is a boy or girl!

I have wished that I had the test done purely so I could see my baby on U/S

I love that glimpse into the world the baby is growing in!
