  • First off got my internet back!!YAY....But we'll start from t he beginning I had a reg. ob visit friday the 31st and she measured my belly and I was almost 38 weeks and my belly was only measuring 34 so she instantly sent me over to get an ultrasound done to see if I was loosing fluid I was not loosing fluid but the baby was measuring about a month behind I didn't know this at the time but she then sent me to the hosp. to get a nst done that was fine but in the middle of getting this it was about 2 or so and I hadnt had anything to eat since 730 in the morning so I asked for something to snack on and they said no which was not normal so I started getting worried well at about 230pm the doc came back in and she explained everything to me she said baby was measuring small and his blood pressure was elevated she said she called a specialist to get his opinion on the matter and he said either induce or keep coming back for tests the risk of getting induced was possibly having to have a c-section and the risk of not inducing was possible still birth I was just like uhh duh what do you think I want to do so at about 4 doc came back and put a foli cath behind my cervix and blew the ball up which didnt hurt but then she pulled it down as tight as it would go and taped it to the side of my leg she said it would open the cervix up and eventually fall out and then I would be about 3cm she said it could take through the night for it to fall out though well at 6pm it fell out and I was having contractions a min apart and my water broke at 8pm I got an epidural and had a pretty peaceful night didnt sleep though they checked my cervix at about 1am and I was 7cm and about 2 I started feeling pressure and started barfing and they never checked me even tho I thought I was complete I finally started punching the page nurse button at 5 cuz I thought I was going to push him out when I was barfing and she came in and the doc came in pretty fast and I had him at 5:14am I only had to push for 8 mins. his name is Isaiah James and he was 5lb 5oz 19in he did great at first then he couldnt keep his body temp up and his blood sug. was low and he wouldnt eat or suck but later on sat night/sun morning he got the hang of breastfeeding and only lost 3oz so they let us come home this morning....I'll try to post a few pix
