  • Xavier Alan was born 7/17/07 @ 11:23am. He weighed 6lbs, 7 1/2 oz and is 18" long.

My grandmother passed away the same day at 12:30. Two souls passing.

We are doing well... going to see the lactation consultant today.

I was induced Monday night starting with pitocin. Tuesday morning I had progressed from 3-4 cm when I was admitted to 5 cm. They broke my water that morning and things progressed quickly from there. I pushed for approx 1 hour and then my sweetheart was born!

I did have an epidural- best thing ever! Without it I would have been too tired to push.

I will try to post more as soon as I can.
Good luck to those of you who are due soon!
