Default too bad

I am starting to get really bummed out about not knowing what gender this baby is. I had come to terms with it and DH now thinks that it is going to be very exciting finding out in the delivery room. BUT............one of my sisters, who is in Italy for the summer called me today and told me about all of these really cute outfits that are all gender specific (let's face it...Italian clothes....ADORABLE!!!!!) Also, we have family friends that live near my sis in France and they also wanted to know the sex so they can buy gender specific. My sis told her that I thought it might be a girl so they went ahead and bought girl clothes.... I know it's petty and selfish but I want to start buying CLOTHES not just sleepers and those little outfits in Italy are so cute and trendy....I am pathetic...I know!!!

oh I totally know the feeling. I'm not going to find out the sex of my baby until its born and I def second guess myself sometimes. For instance, for some reason I have the feeling I am having a boy..so I recently bought a boy clothes. Can't use them if I have a girl...but I did it anyway. Idk sometimes I think I am making the wrong choice not knowing but there are only so many surprises in life. I say if you are going to buy gender specific clothes, buy very little of each. This way you will not throw away a lot of money and maybe you can pass on the others to a second child or friend or something

Lucy, I'm sure it's frustrating. It would drive me crazy not knowing. Maybe you could splurge and buy one really cute outfit for each gender?

I know how you feel. I had to go through not knowing with my girls.
