37 weeks - dr appt update

  • So I just got done at my dr appt and heard some interesting news. First off, my little bugger is just floating in there, not even close to being near a +2 station. Bummer. Then he told me that my pelvis tilts inward and that concerns him as it could mean bone-on-bone for pushing. These two things are putting me at an increased risks of c-section. SO, I can't remember if he called it a tilted pelvis or a concave pelvis, but I am trying to research it online to see if I want to try to insist on just going c-section without laboring first....Wondering if any of you have heard of this with the pelvis before.

He said that he's almost 99% sure we aren't going before the due date as baby boy hasn't even thought of dropping yet. This also means he could decide to just stay up there and not drop. I was really hoping to hear there was progress towards labor today but I guess that just wasn't in the cards.

Hope you all are doing well....and please let me know if you have any advice or thoughts on the pelvis thing. I am looking for any input. Thanks!

  • We have our 39 wk appt this afternoon, as of last week we were still no progress towards labor. Hoping for good news today, my stomach seems to be contracting today however I don't know enough about it to even know if it's anything to even think about. I guess that's what happens when you are a first timer :-)
