  • ok, so I am registering and I am stuck on this one thing. I am hoping to have the baby in my room for a few weeks, but not forever...
I was going to register for a bells and whistles bassinet, but then I realized how under-used that would be if I only plan on using it for a few weeks.
Now I think I am going to register for a travel lite crib (the smaller pack and play by graco) which has a bassinet option. There is one that will match my baby's room colors, so I can even keep it in there for a play pen during upstairs cleaning once I move the pad to the lower position and the baby is in her crib.

    Help!

  • I would go with the pack and play option. I used the bassinett part downstairs for months and loved it. I also used it as a changing table because it had the convienent flip-top changer thing. That was awesome! I would skip the bassinett.

  • I have a bassinet already otherwise a pack and play is WAY more convenient if you ask me. I'm still going to register for that because of all the travel we do and camping, etc. But the bassinet is basically cute but useless after a few weeks to a month I feel.

  • Definitely go with the pack and play. You'll get so much more use out of it!
