  • When did you schedule/do your first appointment? How far along were you? My doctor's clinic doesn't schedule first appointments until you are 10 - 12 weeks along. That seems so late to me? I think my first appointment with my DD (who is now 7) was at around 6 - 8 weeks. I am seriously considering switching clinics.

  • I think the norm is 7-10 weeks or so. My OB's office couldn't get me in until almost 12 weeks- which I was concerned about as well, but my RE had done an u/s at 7 weeks and they had said they would be available for me until I had seen my ob.

  • 5/21, so I'll be 10 weeks. If you are uncomfortable w/ waiting, perhaps call and request to reschedule. I think I saw the doc at 8 weeks w/ my first.

  • I'll be delivering with Midwives as I did with my daughters, so I don't have an ob.

My GP has been keeping an eye on me due to hyperemesis so I've been seeing him since I was 5 weeks pregnant, and my first Midwife appointment is when I'm 16 weeks.
