Default it's a...

Stinker.... baby slept the whole ultrasound face down legs together!
Baby looks great measuring just right. anatomy and size is great.
However after a very long scan including a vaginal scan the u/s tech said i have marginal placenta previa the placenta is covering the cervix but it is also on the right side of the uterus so there is a chance it will migrate upwards as the uterus grows.
I must say i know almost nothing about this condition.
So i decided to look up more info on the net. Only to find myself now scared and worried about what could happen

I am hoping the problem will correct itself. I should hear from the doctor soon to schedule another ultrasound to check the placenta.
I am disappointed about not finding out the gender since i have been so excited to find out. The kids were pretty upset as well.
DH says it doesn't matter and thinks it would be fun to wait and see

He always tries to make the best of everything.
have any of you had this condition? Any one's corrected before birth? Any advice or similar stories would be great

dont worry they will watch it close if it does not correct it's self! but it is common for it to correct itself when it's just a slight previa.

When do you talk to your doctor?

If it's just marginal it will more than likely correct itself... just watch for bleeding... don't let anyone do a vag exam on you without telling the that first... hopefully it'll migrate right on up where it belongs!

Sorry you didn't get to find out, but since you will be getting checked for the placenta maybe you will find out at that time. I think Jaedra is having the same placental issues.

That is corrects itself.

That the baby is healthy and on target!

Praying it will correct itself! Maybe you will find out next time, and drink some Grape juice 45 min before your US raises your blood sugar and gets them moving in there!=)
