  • I can't eat. I think this was about exact same time it hit when I was pregnant with DS. I just can't eat! The thought of eating makes me nauseated, and then when I actually eat, I feel sick for an hour. So it's back to the Ensure diet for me. I can drink fine. I just can't eat anything. Oh well. Anything for the kids right?!

  • That sounds awful! I hope its short lived this time!

Is it just eating in general or food aversions? Like the smell of sugar makes me sick. If I actually manage to eat any, then I get horribly ill and shake and such. Its awful! Mine stays until I deliver though.

  • Oh my! I don't think I could deal with that! I hope it does not last long or you find something that does not make you sick!

  • Laura it's both. The thought of many foods is repulsive to me. Then there are some things I physically can't stomach. I'm not even that "hungry" feeling. I should clarify that when I'm not pregnant I LOVE to eat and can eat just about anything! I also have random food cravings and then once I get them in front of me I can't eat them. I finally made some plain white rice last night and ate it okay. It took forever to get down a bowl of white rice.....but I managed. This morning I wanted eggs and bacon and was able to eat it with no problem. Hopefully today will be better. It's very random but it is so hard to deal with. When I was pregnant with DS I only gained 13 pounds because of it.

  • Good luck! I have been there and done that and it is nerve wracking. Hopefully it won't be a problem this time round.
