  • Thanks ladies for the imput. I think I want to do it, but I will ask my ob next visit...which is the same visit for my GTT. I will be 27 weeks by then, so around week 30-32 is the best, if he says ok, I think I will just fork out the money and do it seems cool and they do give you DVD's and pics. Glad I asked about the timing too, I may have freaked out if I were to go any earlier than 30 weeks. But by then I would not have seen her for 8 weeks! Plus I still and not getting a whole lot of movement so if I see her an all is well I feel better. Thanks again for all the advice.

  • I didn't have one as there's no where close to me where I could. I did have a baby heartbeeat monitor though so I could listen to Katies heartbeat and movements whenever I wanted to. I found that very reassuring.

  • The heart beat monitor sounds great! I have had patients who have used them and found it so reassuring...and fun too! I think you have to be at least 13 weeks along, is that right??

  • It varies depending what type you get, some work that early, some claim not to until around 20wks - but I found I could hear K around 18wks I think. Mine had two headsets with it so dh/grandparents could listen in with me, that was really special to share with them.
