Constant cramping at 40.5 weeks pregnant??

My sister had major back pains(thought she threw her back out) .After my mom and me bugged her all night she went in and she was at 5cm! Gave birth 2 hours later.That was her first child.Me on the other hand always has to be induced!

Thanks! I had a hard night trying to sleep/ get comfortable, but I finally did somehow and I when I woke up just recently the cramping has eased to the point where I barely feel it. Hmm...

I hope it is the start of labor though! If they come back soon to the intensity of yesterday, I will definitely call the OBGYN.

It is so weird because no one ever says that contractions feel like that. I am glad you all had similar situations. I guess it really is different for everyone!
