  • I also wanted to say that my problem with my hospital births didn't include the OBGYN.
It is the L & D nurses that were horrible and nasty(with births 2 and 3)!!!! They didn't believe
me or listen to me at all.....which resulted in both babies being born by those nasty nurses

I didn't miss that at all with my homebirth

I got to just lay there and not talk to anyone, while
my children played in and out of my bedroom and my husband perched next to me on a barstool
    reading a book

I did get scared though when I realized the baby was coming....like I said, it was 1/2 the time of
my previous births.....and I didn't believe it was possible to be happening yet.
Tracy, all 4 of my kids were born looking up

My 9 y.o. ds said when my new daughter's head
was out "Oh! I think she's got your nose!!!" One of my favorite memories

  • How wonderful!!

I can say that I have nothing but poor or bad memories from my hospital births, despite once having the most awesome labor nurse in the world. ALL of my homebirths are beautiful memories - even the ones that didn't turn out the way we had hoped.
