  • Hey guys, I thought maybe someone would have some experience with a c-section birth plan. I've had lots of complications this time around in and out of the hospital and one of my OB nurses asked why I didn't have a birth plan in my chart. Duh! It never entered my mind. Last time was an emergency c-sec due to a severe abruption and I was totally put under. I can find a lot of generators online for home and hospital births but has anyone seen one for a scheduled c-sec? I'm deaf, so there are some communications issues I can address in the plan also. We have gone over our compassionate/care plan with the hospital social worker and chaplain. At one point we were facing an adverse prenatal diagnosis, although things are looking more positive now I'm thinking I could consolidate that info in a BP esp. on the off chance that I'm not consious. Any tips, links, advice?

  • Wow, what a good question.
I am interested in the same thing, so I looked online a bit. I found a few links-I have not really looked into any of them, so I am not sure how good/bad they might be, but maybe with all of them together you can put tpgether what you are looking for?
