  • I just discovered that we are pregnant again after losing our firstborn son at 25 weeks. I find myself fluctuating between excitement and nervousness. I am also comparing how I feel now with how I remember feeling in the early weeks of my first pregnancy and questioning if it is normal. Is there anyone else that is experiencing (or has successfully gone through) the nerviousness of a subsequent prgnancy after losing a baby?

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your son. While not that far along, I have lost 5 consecutive pregnancies and I know the deep sadness you feel.

Your confused feelings of excitement and nervousness are TOTALLY normal.

You're not alone. I hope that you find comfort and support here at TBC!!
