  • My DH and I have decided TTC. And I have this feeling that I am pregnant and I am so wanting to take a test to find out but I don't want to take one and be disappointed. Can anyone tell me who long they waited until they decided to take a test. I personally don't want to wait until I have a missed period like I did twice before. Can someone help me ??

  • 2 weeks after you ovulate or the day or day after your normal AF would be due. First morning urine is the most concentrated. Tests that measure lower levels of the pg hormone are best at that time.. I like EPT and Clear Blue Easy but others have had luck with First Response Early.

    Good Luck!!

  • If you know when you ovulated, you can test about 12 days after that (just remember that it might not show up yet, as that is a little early). Use the hpt that's an "early" one. If you don't know when you ovulated, then go for about 28-30 days after your last AF.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!

  •
I tested faintly positive at 11 dpo, but that's not usual. I didn't test positive with DD until 16 dpo, so it's variable.

  • I also tested positive at 11dpo and confirmed it at my GP's office the next day.
