  • IA, I never spotted when I was pregnant so the isssue of Rhogam never came up with me, but if you're bleeding you should probably get the shot. Better not to risk it.

  • well we went into walmart last night which is 50 mins away, i seemed to spot more while we were in there so we made a trip to the ER which was on the way home the ER DR said my cervix is closed and dosn't look like i will M/C but of course nothing is 100% they drew blood for a beta and i have to have another drawn on monday (hoping i can do it at the DR office close) As for the RH factor he said they don't give rhogam until 7- 12 weeks for a threatened M/C because the baby really dosn't have any blood for my blood to be fighting off.

So i am saposed to take it easy this weekend and see what happenes, of course it is opening day for rifel deer season so the kids have a 4 day weekend and DH took monday off work to go hunting, but i will try to take it easy.

thanks again for thinking about me.

  • I hope everything is going ok -- I never had to deal with the whole Rh thing, but I spotted in every single one of my pregnancies. It's so normal early on as the embryo nestles it's way down into the lining of your uterus. Take it easy and try not to worry!

  • I know this is kinda late to respond but I had to have rhogam with both my girls because i'm RH+ and their dad is RH-. I never bled with either pg. I had a m/c about 7months prior to getting pg with first daughter I was 3mths when it happened they did an u/s and saw there was an empty sac so Rhogam would not have helped. My doc hasn't told me if I need to have the shot this time. We were waiting for the blood test to come back from the DH.(different father from my 2 girls). Everything is going fine with this pg though I am 5mths and have had 2 u/s. So I'm hoping to not need it.
