  • When you go for your appointments, how often on average do you wait for the doctor to see you?

  • On average 5 minutes tops in the waiting room and then 5 minutes once the nurse has done her stuff.

My doc was always good a scheduling appts. I have seen him for 5 years through several pgs and never had to wait more than 10 minutes total.

  • My midwife appts (I'm 100% midwife led care so no dr appts) is usually approx 10-20mins late. I was talking to another mum-to-be two villages up and she finds the same. We don't mind at all though - we know if they're running late it's because someone needed some extra time and oneday that someone was me... so I find it reassuring to know that each appt is as long as You need it to be rather than frustrating that I'm never seen on time.
