Yeah don't freak out too much. I also have a high prolactin level and I am on "parlodel" (Bromocriptine) a half tab every night at bedtime. It brought my levels to normal within 2 weeks. I was in the 50's and I came down to a level of 13 in 2 weeks. It can make you light headed in the beginning but I am used to it now. My doctor told me it was nothing to worry about. He said I probably had a small benign tumor on my pituitary as well. He never sent me for any tests because he said my level was not high enough.

Hope that helps.

My dr. office also told me I had a high prolatin level. It was 24 which is the high end of normal he said which is ok if you are not in baby making mode. I was on the same drug as Mary-Ellen but he took me off of it while we are on a break...I got really nasty headaches and it took me awhile to get moving in the morning, I was very slugish.

I hope you get some answers.
