  • We plan to use fresh eggs for our egg donation program. When we sign up a contract with them and choose an egg donor, I’ll have to take birth control pills to synchronize my periods with the donor’s ones. Then we’ll have to visit the clinic for an embryos transfer. My hubby’s sperm will be picked up and used to fertilize the donor’s oocytes. Three embryos will be transferred into my uterus. I’ll have to take special hormone medicines to support my possible pregnancy. In two weeks the first pregnancy test should be done. If the result is BFP, I’ll have to take medications up to the twelfth week of pregnancy.

  • It’s a standard procedure, hun! This is really the way DE IVF is done. I’m also infertile. I have a very low ovarian reserve. My AMH test has revealed that I need egg donation. As we’re going to live in EU for some time, I’m looking for an appropriate fertility clinic there. I’ve also read some feedbacks about Biotexcom and got interested in them. Could you tell me please what health tests do they require for their DE IVF programs?

  • Hi, WonderfulDestiny! Nice to meet you, hun! I think the list of tests you have to do for DE IVF is quite standard. I did some blood and hormone tests. I also did several ultrasound checks. My hubby did a sperm test. You may visit the Biotexcom official website and find the entire list of required tests there. Good luck in your ED journey!

  • JStar, thanks for the clue. We’ve already visited the fertility specialist and she gave us a complete list of tests we have to do. I have already done several blood tests and my hubby has made a sperm test. We also considered Ukraine as our final destination. I’ve visited the official website of Biotexcom. I should say that I liked quite a lot of things about this clinic. Hun, have you decided what to do further? Will you visit this clinic or not?

  • There are quite a lot of things we liked about Biotexcom. The clinic has rather favorable prices and high success rates. We also liked the fact that they provide free accommodation and transportation services. Not all fertility clinics are ready to provide such services. However, they seem to be very busy with the clients. You had to wait loads of time in the queue before the RE is ready to meet you. It seems to be their only drawback.
