  • I quit taking my birth control (Yasmin) around the first of May... the previous month I wasn't too hot on taking them every day, in other words I missed a few. I should have gotten my period June 8th... that is 28 days from my last... my periods were always regular before. We are trying to get pregnant... and my husband drove me to take a pregnancy test the day after I was late... and now it's been 4 days with no signs of my period starting, I usually cramp a little and get very emotional the couple of days before... should I take another test??

  • I would test again, but it isn't uncommon for your cycle to be out of whack after stopping the pill...

  • I would test again, but I agree with the ladies; it's not entirely uncommon for you to have a "recovery time" after stopping BC. Good luck! Maybe you ovulated late and your period isn't really late yet.
