  • I need help understanding the best time to conceive. What I mean is, should we try 3 days after my wifes menstrual cycle, or a week etc.
I hope I have come to the right place to ask this, as this my first time here
    Any help would be great.
    Thank you and God bless.

  • i've been told to count back 14 days since the first day of her last cycle... and that should be the day she ovulates... that's assuming she's on a 28 day cycle. so maybe try between 10 and 18 days after her mentrual cycle... every second day. hope this helps... good luck!
I'll be trying the same thing!

  • The best time is when your wife is ovulating. Every woman is different. The average woman who has a 28 day cycle will ovulate around day 14 meaning the best time to have sex would be anywhere from day 10 to day 18. (Cycle day one would be the first day of menstrual flow)

Another way you can tell when your wife is ovulating is by watching her body signs. Many women experience eggwhite mucus a few days before ovulation. Some feel twinges in their sides, and even may have a bit more acne. Also ovulation tests can be used to help even better time sex around ovulation. You can buy them at most any grocery store.

Best of luck, and welcome to TBC.
