Temping Question

  • I've done temping and such before. But I've never had to deal with this. I normally wake up at 6:30 so that's when I should be taking my temp. This is my first week temping (I stopped for 2 years) and every day this week I woke up at 4:00. I don't actually get out of bed but I wake up and look at the alarm clock and make the concious decision that it's too early and I should go back to sleep. My question is should I be counting that as a disturbance?

  • Yep.. You should have 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep to get an accurate reading. Take your temp at 4:00 if you know that you wake at that time every day.
