10-09-07 | 11:01 AM - Hi. DH and I started TTC in 10/2000. In late 2004 the doctor told us that it would not happen without fertility treatments. By that time our other kids were getting older and we decided not to go that route.
I am now 15 weeks, 4 days pregnant. It took nearly seven years. We weren't "trying" any longer, but we weren't preventing either since it wasn't supposed to be able to happen. We never had any fertility treatments.- ~babywanted~
10-09-07 | 11:14 AM - We tried for 5 years to have our first child. 3 miscarriages, 1 IVF, 1 FET, 12 IUI's, 2 ICI's at home, DH sperm, DS sperm. We were in the process of getting donor embryos from an anonymous couple when I decided to try one more home ICI and it worked. We were shocked beyond shock. We were going to be a one child household and due to DH sperm issues we have never used birth control. His issues are/were 1% morphology, 38% fragmentation. Well, I'm now 16 weeks pregnant! Both our children are definite miracles in different ways. Best of luck to you all in creating your families.

10-09-07 | 07:58 PM - DH and I started TTC in 1994, shortly after marrying. After a year, he had a SA and biopsy which confirmed azoospermia. It took me YEARS (until 2002) before I was able to be at peace with our options. We tried AI with donor sperm at home and later IUI's at the doctor's office. This resulted in two chemical pregnancies. I couldn't take it anymore and decided that I didn't NEED to be pregnant to be a mother- really, I just needed a child :lol So, we became foster parents. Gage was placed with us at one month and we finalized the adoption last month!!!!!!!!!!

10-09-07 | 10:14 PM - Hi, my name is Diane, and i am married to Mike. We tried for a year after wedding to get pregnant. we went to a specialist who told us due to dh's sperm results, low motility and count, we should skip all and go right o IVF with ICSI. we got pregnant with daughter on first attempt. After having her we did not use birth control, and planned on doing a frozen transfer when she was 2.5 or 3. Well to our surprise when she was 9 months old i was told i was pregnant. I am now 26 weeks pregnant with a little brother for Ava.
